Finn Dixon & Herling Names Two New Partners

STAMFORD, CT, July 1, 2013 – Finn Dixon & Herling LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher M. Mozingo and Michael P. Spiro have been elected as partners of the firm.

Chris’ practice focuses on corporate and business law, with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance.  Chris represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies in matters relating to acquisitions, including leveraged buyouts, growth equity and venture capital investments, dispositions and general corporate matters, and he advises clients on state and federal securities law compliance.

“Chris is an outstanding member of our corporate/mergers and acquisitions practice group.  His extensive experience with our private equity and growth capital fund clients in particular will continue to enable us to grow those practices and provide exemplary service to those clients," said Michael Herling, managing partner and one of the founders of Finn Dixon & Herling.

Mr. Mozingo earned his J.D., cum laude, from Emory University School of Law (2004) and his B.A., cum laude, from State University of New York at Buffalo (1997).  He resides in Stamford, CT with his wife Michelle and their twins. 

Michael’s practice focuses on providing federal and state tax advice in connection with domestic and international transactions, including hedge and private equity fund formations, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financings and restructurings.

Mr. Spiro earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2004), his LL.M. in Taxation from Temple University Beasley School of Law (2007) and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Brandeis University (2001).  He resides in Stamford, CT with his wife Nicole and their three children.
