Alfred Pavlis spoke on February 11, 2015, at the annual conference titled “A Day of SEC Updates & Developments,” hosted by the Westchester/Fairfield County Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Mr. Pavlis was a member of a panel that discussed current SEC enforcement issues such as insider trading, whistleblowers, “bad actor” waivers, the increasing use of SEC administrative proceedings, and the renewed investigative focus on “gatekeepers.” The panel also included the Deputy Director of Enforcement for the SEC, a director of litigation from a global investment bank, and a partner from a Washington, DC law firm.
