Neil represents a variety of equity sponsors and emerging and established companies in a wide range of corporate transactions.

His equity sponsor clients include private equity, growth equity, and venture capital funds, as well as fundless sponsors and other market participants.

Neil has broad experience in diverse industries that include universities/education, technology, hospitality, healthcare, media, consumer products, financial services, professional services and fashion.

Representative recent equity sponsor experience includes:

  • Acquisitions of platform investments for control sponsors in a wide variety of sectors, and related services:
    • Add-on acquisitions for the life of platform investments
    • Efficient outside general counsel representation for governance, equity and other matters, and sale process
  • VC and growth equity investments
  • Joint ventures, consulting arrangements and “acquire-hire” transactions
  • Coinvestments and SPV fundraising transactions
  • Recapitalizations, restructurings and dividends

He has recently advised sponsors such as L Catterton, Gridiron Capital and Dubin Clark.

He also represents emerging and established companies and their boards of directors with respect to a wide range of items, including:
