Evan I. Cohen is a partner in the Commercial Litigation and Government & Internal Investigations groups, with a practice focusing on securities, shareholder, merger and acquisition, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Cohen also has experience in criminal government investigations, state, federal and regulatory investigations, and advising clients on the antitrust risk of mergers and acquisitions, including representation in connection with FTC and DOJ review of mergers. Prior to joining Finn Dixon & Herling, Mr. Cohen was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in the Litigation Group. Mr. Cohen received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2007, where he was a member of the New York University Journal of Law and Business, and received a B.A. in economics from Stanford University in 2002.
