Tarek Chatila is an associate in the Corporate Group and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and general corporate representation. Mr. Chatila is also an International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States (CIPP/US).
Prior to joining Finn Dixon & Herling, Mr. Chatila was an associate in the Private Credit Group at Proskauer Rose LLP, where he represented a variety of private credit lenders in national and cross-border financing transactions. Mr. Chatila received his J.D., with Honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he also received a Transactional Practice Certificate. He was the Symposium Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law and worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Alfred V. Covello of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Chatila worked for the Qatar Olympic Committee and organized world championship level events, including the IPC Athletics World Championships Doha 2015 and FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) Doha 2014.
