  • Michael Spiro to Serve as Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University Dolan School of Business
    In Spring, 2011, Michael Spiro will be teaching a course at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business entitled “Contemporary Topics in Taxation—The Taxation of Investment Transactions.” The course will focus on practical U.S. federal income tax strategies for structuring domestic and cross border debt, equity, and derivative investments by private equity and hedge funds. The course will be open to MBA and MS students.

  • David I. Albin Presented to the Business Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association
    On February 22, 2011, David I. Albin presented to the Business Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association entitled, "What is Market in Public M&A -- Lessons Learned From the ABA's Mergers and Acquisitions Committee's Recent Deal Points Survey."  In David's presentation, he analyzed for the Section's members how recent deals come out in key points that differentiate public company M&A from private company M&A.
