Patrick J. McHugh regularly represents corporate clients in complex business disputes in state and federal court through trial and appeal, including trade secrets, intellectual property, valuation of regulated and unregulated utility property, breach of contract (merger agreements, indemnities, material adverse change clauses, third-party marketing agreements and investment advisory and finder’s fee agreements), unfair trade practice and Lanham Act violations. He counsels clients involved in state and federal government investigations, including warrants and grand jury subpoenas issued at the request of the U.S. Attorney. His practice also includes representing and advising clients in mediation and arbitration (whether AAA or FINRA) disputes.
