Laura M. Elliott focuses her practice on general corporate matters, with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters. Ms. Elliott advises clients in connection with venture capital and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. Ms. Elliott also advises clients on corporate governance matters and public company reporting.
Prior to joining Finn Dixon & Herling, Ms. Elliott was an associate in the Corporate Finance & Securities group at Bryan Cave LLP in New York, where she practiced in the areas of public and private M&A, securities law and corporate governance.
Ms. Elliott received her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2004, where she was an Articles Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and the Community Outreach Chair of the Women’s Law Coalition. She received a B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2001 with honors in Classics.
Ms. Elliott is admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
